They are made of thin matte vinyl, so they do not look like stickers, but like a painted design. Simply peel off the backing off any apply them in any pattern/style you want.
They can go on walls, doors, windows appliances, etc.... pretty much any hard surface... and the best part is that when you change your mind or want your security deposit back, you just peel them off. It will not leave a mark or pull up the paint!
These do peel off, but once they are removed, they are not reusable.
Each set is shipped with:
- A full set of instructions, including photos.
- Squeegee to expertly apply the graphics.
- Sample test graphics.
Multi-color sets that need to be aligned include removable registration marks, to make lining them up simple!
Only apply your decal to a smooth, dry and clean surface. Using a dry cloth, wipe down the surface before applying the decal. Allow at least 2 weeks for fresh paint to cure before applying your decal. Before applying your decal, apply the included test strip to the surface.
Before removing the decal backing, work out your design by taping up your decals. Depending on your pattern, you may need to cut loosely around the decals in order to arrange them.
You need to make sure the design is attached firmly to the transfer tape. Lay the decal on a flat surface, with with the graphic side facing down. Squeegee smoothly and forcefully over the entire backing. Starting at one corner, slowly peel away the paper backing with a rolling action. Take care not to let the graphic stick to itself as you remove the backing.
Some designs may want to stick to the backing; simply stop peeling, roll back a bit & repress the decal onto the transfer tape.
Holding two corners of the transfer tape, stick your design onto your clean surface. Smooth one edge onto the surface first, to avoid wrinkles and bubbling, and continue firmly smoothing out the tape all the way down.
Ask for another hand if the image is bigger than you can handle.
Once your graphic is attached to the surface, it's time to remove the tape. Start at one corner and slowly roll it off of your surface. If any part of the decal sticks to the tape, simply stop pulling, roll back a bit and repress the graphic onto the surface and continue peeling away, slowly.
If bubbling occurs after the graphic is applied, simply take a thumbtack or needle and poke the bubbled area a couple of times, then smooth it out with your hands.
Removing your decal is simple. Pick at an edge with your fingernail and slowly peel the decal off of your surface. It's just like taking down a sticker. You can also use a blow dryer to help weaken the adhesive and make it easier to remove the decal.
